"It works, wish it were a bit taller" 2009-08-12

I have a 2.5 year old and this proves to be just a little bit short for him to fully reach the sink. It's very sturdy and has not gotten to dirty to fast.

"sturdy but not high enough" 2009-02-27
By R. Hogue
I like the look of this stool, the width, the size that it takes up is good but it just isn't tall enough for a toddler. That is a big deal for a stool, thus only 3 stars. My son is 3 and he is finally able to use it to wash his hands from the sink but still has to stand on his tippy toes to turn the water on and he is not a shorty! It is however an okay height for helping toddlers on and off the potty. We have had the stool since the very beginning of potty training and it has held up well and is easy to clean. It just isn't high enough!

"Good for the price. Inexpensive so we essentially got what we paid for." 2008-10-01
By Tiffany Van Alst (Los Gatos, CA)
Not bad but not great. A bit flimsy but good for the price. My son uses it whenever he uses the guest bathroom and it works fine. For $9, I can't complain too much.

"Works for what I need and is durable." 2008-08-21
By M. FLEIJ (Cordova,TN USA)
It's a decent stepping stool. My daughter uses it to sit on and to stand on for brushing teeth/washing hands. She hasn't ever complained about the bumps on the top but I can see where some wouldn't appreciate that. I haven't had any issues with it and compared to the other stool that I have this one seems tougher.

"uncomfortable surface, rubber feet are not well attached" 2007-08-14
By R. Anderson (Waipahu, HI)
This stool is not that great. The surface of the stool has raised bumps on it, and the entire stool is made of the same hard plastic. The bumps are not comfortable on the feet.

The rubber feet are simply small rubber ribbed pieces that are screwed on the bottom of the legs of the stool. On each leg there are 3 metal screws. On the one I got, one of the middle screws was missing. My 18 mo old daughter pulled off the rubber foot off of the one with the missing screw. The rubber part is stretchy so it can come off over the head of the screw with enough force.

Also, when I received it, it came a little dirty looking. I had to scrub it but some of the black marks still didn't come off.

Since there is no picture available, let me describe it. The stool has the four legs, of which the spaces in between the legs are like a semi-circle. The top is oval shaped with lots of little raised bumps on the surface. I would not say the top is slip-resistant as it is made of the same plastic as the rest of the stool, but probably easier to clean than a more textured surface. The bumps really don't do anything other than feel uncomfortable.

The top part is 11 inches in diameter by 9 inches across. The sides and bottom are slightly set outward for stability and the measurements on the bottom are 1-2 inches wider than the top part. The height is a little less than 7 inches. The rubber feet are blue.
